Let's Rhyme


Try to compose true words that ring
From within where wishing does spring
Lyrics to which we all can cling

Hear how the fates then turn and swing
Had you the power to pluck their string
Deep feelings often hold a sting

Imagine the joys you could bring
Or what worries we all might fling
Should you write only one true thing

no its not acceptable Greg go look at contest results page and then remove Only One True Thing and then when you have done so I will put you back as 3rd otherwise you will remain at 9th Up to you thats my final words on this subject Shadow

I have place you 9th as you did not follow the rules which were to use Lets Rhyme as your title sorry but it would be unfair to other contestants that did

I put the title back to where it was when I entered. Hope this okay. A number of days from now I will remove the Let's Rhyme, as you suggested. Thank you.

you put Only one truth thing~~~~~~~ then contest title you should not have written only the truth before title I know it was a genuine mistake but it would be wrong to the other 8 contestants that placed to allow it to stand I did a blog explaining how and why so I dont think any PS members will hold it against you Shadow

Just so you know, I did use Let's Rhyme in my title for my entry and just changed it back to the original title Only One True Thing about an hour ago. That was after you posted a third place for my poem. Of course, you are the host but I did observe the contest rules until the moment that the contest was over. At 4:49 you informed that the results were final and I had placed third. Certainly, you must use your best judgment but I hope people don't think or get a message that I bent or did not follow the contest rules. It could effect how other PS members view my intentions negatively.
