LETS RHYME
LET’S RHYME
At first, considered hard to write
Despite the fact I wasn’t too bright
Yet still with concern to do it right
Never causing anyone much fright
Even if it took all the day and night
Doubting if I should see the light
So tiring, my face was almost white
I must have appeared an awful sight
Always committed to keep it tight
Needing words that had some bite
Other writers know well my plight
Fearing never to reach that height
With finished work, well, not quite
But pressing on, with luck, I might
As if I would always win the fight
And in the end, it was quite alright
