Let's Remind Each Other

Hold me a little tighter
Tighter than yesterday
Tighter than ever before
Whisper, “You’re mine”
As I lay my weary head upon your warm chest
Cuddle me safely in your strong, protective, arms
Proclaim to me your undying love
Don’t let me fall asleep, without hearing those words from your lips
Please pull me close, so close
Leave no space between the two of us
Remind me you’re here
You’re here to stay
Remind me that this
This won’t ever change
Then I’ll hold you a little tighter
Tighter than yesterday
Tighter than ever before
Whisper,” You’re mine”
Proclaim my undying love
And fall asleep in your strong, protective, arms
Let’s remind each other
