Let's Make the Most of Time

Let’s maximize time, applying life’s best lessons learned from experiences allowed by God, the greatest Teacher Who asserted the privilege to love Him and neighbors as we love ourselves while seeking His grace toward character betterment. Let’s value time, understanding what’s essential since doing so is vital for wisdom-gaining keeping us peace-filled, shielded from doubt or bitterness yet diligently toiling, not plagued with indolence-peril. Let’s spend time well, prioritizing the eternal we must cherish such is faith in the Lord against the temporal and worldly vain as we trust His truth revealed through His holy Scriptures empowering us to live blissfully triumphant. Let’s be warned to use time, not focusing on selfish gain overcoming discontentment, covetousness and pride vanquishing self-righteousness, self-pity, self-glorying pursuits thus, we are exhorted to walk through the Holy Spirit’s guidance. Let’s enjoy the time* granted us, choosing to do what’s right serving the Lord by ministering to others with kindness praying, reaching-out, sharing, caring along compassion’s practice wasting not moments toward regrets’ anguish.
*Ephesians 5:10 Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord. Ephesians 5:16 Redeeming the time, because the days are evil. Psalm 90:12 So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom. June 10, 2020 1st place, "Time" Poetry Contest Sponsored by Chantelle Anne Cooke; judged on 6/11/2020.
