Let's Just Say Adieu

Mares eat oats and does eat oats and li'l lambs eat ivy
Sounds like the political scene today, makes us feel grimy
I'm seeing an end
Hope I'm right, it depends
On coming to our senses and saying “Adieu, Mr. Slimy!”
