Let's Get It Together

So why are you out there talking about b*tch, hoes, cars, and even your bling? You see if you do not first love yourself then trust me the money you got would not solve everything! Let’s talk about a positive factor like elevating and educating our youths, We got too many young babies in the projects with their first words being, “give me a gun because I want to shoot!” Sometimes I look around and feel sad whenever I see my black beautiful folks, Making money off of the wrong elements of life like “Super Head” with her deep head strokes! C’mon now my people lets get it together and go out in society and make a change, You might drive down MLK but remember those acronyms stands for one of our Greatest Black Leader therefore representing his name! Yes, you can call me a poet, a visionary, or just an urban evolutional soldier, I too got dreams of inspiring not only myself but those around me so that we can all make CEO status like Hova! Living that good life could have me sipping some coffee, taking a cup of green tea, or even a splash of espresso, But why shall I sell out my soul to a livelihood that’s not for me when I’m standing on my own threshold? We have came so far as black people so there is no need for us to back track, Yes, it’s wonderful for us to know our roots so that knowledge could permit us to stay focus and not to fall into this commercialize trap! Its time to bring forth our sunlight and remove these stormy clouds to embrace our foundation on making our communities better, So come on my people let’s stop wasting our lives doing the chicken noodle soup dance and get your s*** together...! “ In an open audience of people would your voice be heard?”
