Lets Celebrate the Death of Our Love

Let’s celebrate the death of our love, my dear
We believed it would live for ever
But it was mortal like us, too
It died when it was destined to
While it lived
It gave us our moments of joy
Moments that seemed eternal Moments that felt ethereal
Moments beyond time’s measure
Moments that we shall treasure
We wished our love lived for ever
But it was mortal like us, too
It died when it was destined to
Let’s celebrate the death of our love, my dear.

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
