Lets Be Open

Walk over to someone
you have never met. Give them
a smile. You will be surprised
at their reaction. Everyone needs
a friend. Perhaps that person
is you. Sometimes this world
can be a lonely place. People sitting
side by side never speaking.  A sea of
humanity isolated. People wanting
to be seen, afraid to speak. Wishing to
be noticed. Are you strong enough
to take the first step. Extend a hand
and you will come to know, you are 
remarkable. The world can use
more smiles. In the end you give
yourself a special gift. For you may
gain a special friend.

So, yes, let's be open but cautious, for too many wounds can break a heart. I'm a very open person...I'm learning to change for self-preservation. Guess this in itself was rather open...I'm hopeless!
