Let's
As the days pass
Allow my fears to be free
At last.
Let's open bottles
Of hopes and dreams
And take cheer
For all that is near.
Let's look up
And wish upon the stars
That brighten our days.
Let's shatter all the chains
Society told us
We could never break
With laughter
And faith.
Let's breathe in grace
And exhale
Every bit of doubt
As we allow our hearts to write
All the stories that
Our minds never had the strength
To write alone.
Let's find solace in the sound of rain
And happiness
In the depths of night.
Let's overflow this world with joy and
Step into the glory
Of a new day
As we say goodbye to another year
But hello to an even greater one
Filled with
Dreams
Promises
And love
In every day
Yet to come.
