Let Your Soul Be Your Voice
The search for peace, a constant companion
That is the way it is destined to be
Love is not awarded without invitation
Hate too will come, and not always set free
We must try every moment of every day
To build a soul full of purpose, it won’t wait
With prayer and faith, we can find a way
For you see, it is not an inborn trait
Build your soul as you would a grand treasure
Fill it with wisdom, and silver, and gold
Give it all away, freely with pleasure
And find your own place in heaven unfold
For a life to have meaning, make this choice
Hands may give, but let your soul be your voice.
