Let Your Light Shine Now
Let your light shine*; seek God’s presence of love’s insistence
Though weary, weak, faltering when pressures are intense…
While laboring with utmost grace-persistence
Depend on His empowering omnipotence!
Let your light shine; stay in the Saviour’s faithfulness
To combat guilt, lurking with adversaries’ haughtiness…
While confessing to Him sincerely sinfulness and wickedness
Delight in His granted loving forgiveness!
Let your light shine; trust in the Lord’s deliverance
Against idleness, skepticism, and ignorance…
While doing your best toward progress-endurance
Desire His approval by your faith’s appearance!
Let your light shine; proclaim Christ’s Gospel story
Facing courageously anxiety’s misery and hardship’s worry…
While claiming steadfastly His assured victory
Dedicate yourself to work for His glory!
*Matthew 5:16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.
