Let You Slip Away You Were Ever So Good To Me

Once had you in my heart;
I once had you in my mind;
You were ever so kind;
And I said I'd never part,
never would I leave you....

You were ever so good to me;
On my mine so awesome and kind;
And like butter in a pan, so slick...
The cake falls drops out 
It's sweet taste so good, so fine;

And I let you slip away;

Like an oil slick on the ocean;
My heart beats ever so often;
And I let you slip away;
