It’s hard to believe we could float on, After all you said and did, Your voice is still in my head, It seems impossible to forget you, And I am stupid enough to believe, I could see all your lies. But why do I feel like every grain of sand in the sea, Is smothering me out, And the water is pressuring me down, Down mentally and physically, As I feel the sand travel through my mouth and nose to fill my veins, I hear your voice in my brain, Laugh and say, “Down baby down, I can float on without you”. Let go! I yell and plead with my heart, Let...go…of…her…
