Let's play the game "PRETEND"
Like I'm happy for you and this ain't the end
Pretend i could breathe without you in my arms,
Pretend my hand isn't cold without the touch of your palms...
Let's play "Pretend" even for years
Pretend what's flowing from my eyes are happy tears
Cause you said the famous line: "nothing will change"
But we both know that everything else lays to turn and change...
Now Let me play the fool's part
Pretend this is just a quiet happy part
Cause you're touching my hand saying: "I'll be back"
but you turned around, walking away and not looking back
Let's play again this game "Pretend"
Pretend that what we felt won't last anyway,
"My world won't fall apart' , "we're better off this way"
We'll Pretend I don't want you to stay... let's just play pretend...
