Let Us Leave Shadows and Live

From shallows, let’s live tuned to strains our own,
Leaving shadows of life, let’s live our own.

If ocean of emptiness should abound,
Drowning personal pain let’s give to get grown.

Blossoming buds bloom, fragrance freshens air,
Leaving thorns’ reign, let’s on fragrance get drawn.

Mirrors reveal to reflect what we are,
Why on a masked face cleave to play unknown?

Far from the reign of mirage all around,
Prone to give more, let’s not receive alone.

Enjoyed your magnificent Ghazal, Dear Poet. The title itself is so deep - love every line of your brilliant creation. It's a great privilege to be able to read other languages, and get inspired. sending to my faves. Best wishes ~ Mala

My not responding to poetry of my poet friends might have perplexed or even annoyed them, but I often do read and appreciate their poems. Yours too dear friend. Thanks for the kind words.
