Let Us Believe

Let us believe,if not but for one day.
That the world is at peace,no bad words to say.
Let us believe, that all the kings in all the lands.
Tell their people,we’ll lend you a helping hand.
Let us believe,as day turns into night.
Children go to bad,and the world is right.
Let us believe,as we talk to sisters and brothers.
We all love each other, our fathers and mothers.
Let us believe,as we go through a life full of sorrows.
That people will change, and we’ll have a better tomorrow.
Let us believe, that there isn’t any prejudice or race.
And if we believe this, the world will be a better place.

I really like the line about the world being at peace -- no bad words to say. That's the key, controlling our tongues. Light and Hope, Gershon

I agree. We should all help each other. Things will get better. This a very well-written verse. Keep up the good work. Peace, Angie
