Let There Be Light
Let there be light
Today October 1st 2014
Nigeria celebrate 54year of
Independent
Let there be light
Now To the men on the hills
We are tired of darkness
We are feed up of heat
Our light builds are tired to sleep
The wires are whiling to catch life
Our food cry for preservation
The fan can't help the air
Our tv are tired of no touch
Our phone batteries need to be charge
Our cloths need to be strengthen
Despite all
Every month end we get bills
For what we never enjoyed
A scam
With no explanation
Let there be light
Nigeria is the biggest
Economy of Africa
Yet we lake constant electricity
the common man no not
The meaning of electricity
All day we burn fuel
With a power generator
Where some die from it pollution
Let there be light
Light up the land
And watch growth
Flow like a tap without
A head
The people are in need of life
How do you keep
Calm while we suffer
To nothing
Let there be light
On your hills
In our hot weather
You sleep with an
Air condition
Hello sir I wonder
How your head
Keep cool if you
Lack electricity
In that mansion of yours
I wonder how you enjoy
Your luxurious properties
With out the light
Yet you fail to provide
It to your people
Let there be light
Only a fool enjoys
To allow poverty
To live among his own
Community
Only a cowards live to
Only show up his hight of
No knowledge nor wisdom
The light is a necessity
Darkness is evil
Like is obvious
We pledge to you sir's
On the hill
Let there be light
