Let Them Pack and Go

Let's tell those who spoil us with metaphor
That we're logical enough to understand their error
If turning a rotten situation into a bad one
Is to them a testimonial worthy of approbation

They have simply made it very clear
And we too are very much aware
That we're in a rotten situation
In which we need absolute solution

If a rotten apple can spoil a whole barrel
These rotten apples have put us over a barrel
And when to their opponents they think they appel
It's sad that they always scrape the bottom of the barrel

We agree that this septennial reign
Has put us in a rotten situation we don't desire again
Absent of good hands, they're fostering a bad one
Cos they know themselves, they laughed over the pun

Alas! They've concluded that the masses have no choice
And in the coming election the masses won't have a voice
They'll be shocked the election will be more fun than a barrel of monkeys
And the victory for the masses' Labour will be like abcs

What is the difference between a rotten apple and a bad one?
While the former infects others with his corruption
The Latter will be a tough row to hoe
Lest we fall into deep water, it's better to let them pack and go.
