Let the Sunshine Down

i know our life didn't have the best start
and all of the times i broke your heart
 i apologize most sincerely
and thank you for loving me

i know we've lived life years apart
and all the times i thought i'd outsmart
i hang my head so lowly weary
as my eye brings forth a tear-e

i know you could have so much more
and I'm always knocking on heavens door
i party hard you work the same
i live my life like its a game

which always brings you so much pain
i think about you and this rain
summer will surely come to be
if you promise you will always love me
