Let the Soul Lead

Driving to work
I had to dodge
a plastic pool that it was left
on the side of the road

My Mind, said:
Don’t worry
Some else will move it
You will be late for work

My Soul, said:
Somebody may have an accident
Don’t ignored, Go back.
Who cares if you are late for work?

After a few blocks
Of debating who to listen to
I made a U turn
The Soul has won.

My heart was pumping very fast
My hands were sweating
Perhaps, some kind of adrenaline
And excitement in the Body.

I got out the car.
The Mind, said:
At least grabbed the keys
(She worries a lot)

I moved the pool,
Out of the road.
I felt Joy somehow.
It was the right thing to do.

Listening to the Soul
Always feeling so good.
I should let her lead
More often. Ha-ha
