Let the Pin Drop
Let the pin drop
down the abyss of memory,
where the silence retraces the past
and the recollections challenge what is real.
Faces, voices, scenes, places—never lost,
as the mind eternalizes their existence.
Such a descent is emotional—
Enduring.
Let the pin drop
far from the scrutiny of other minds,
where only self-doubt and fear forfeits reality.
It falls purposefully into happier times—
memories that need no resolve,
existing to internalize strength.
The lesson resides in the silent plunge—
Not in the bitter sounds of end.
