Let the Night In

Close your eyes,
the world is watching
Those lies,
speak louder than you know
Close your heart, the fire's falling
& in the dark, every fault will show.
Capture the final sparks
in a tiny box & follow
the first truths to glow
Are you
Afraid of failure,
Afraid of being alone
Are you afraid to falter,
Afraid to know
that every stress & fracture
can only be your own
