Barbed hook in paddled-foot,
in pink pelican-web:
misery in flip-flop.

Flustering-feathers flap
until wrapped... in darkness.

“Just cut it ! Back it out!”
"Hey, she’s free! Fresh...anew..."

Interesting take. I was thinking we had to use the picture as a prompt but I bet she prefers thinking outside the box as you did.

Maybe? I like a happy ending ... not always as poignant in poetry as sitting longer with a difficult feeling. J :)
