Let Not Education Go

No windows of opportunity
Exist there among my walls
As my education fell behind
Got lost in hallowed halls

Direction of this growing soul
Let education dare slip by
While now I sit in dead end job
Forever asking why

So now I seek a future here
Acquire knowledge of a trade
My only prayer; kids stay in school
So they can have it made
