Let Myself Down

Let myself down.
Space shuttle off.
Again, space bound?
Reaching for stars,
to far out of town.
Maybe I am not a star,
after all,
maybe just a meteor,
waiting to fall.
Crashing, in and out of orbits.
Gravity pulls with such 'intense'.
Craters caused by damages,
leaves me with holes,
busting pieces, lost,
taking it's toll.
I wanted so badly to burn,
like others so full and bright,
but turns out it is never to be,
just a plain old meteorite.
