Let Me Talk About Desires

Let me talk about desires

By definition a craving
Which implies a need
A need so strong
It is considered a sin

I love my desires
And the battle against
The craving to fall
Of the edge

I feel the fabric of life
Tearing apart the needle
And the thread struggling
To mend the rift between
Reality and Sanity

The End Result
Being a deep thirsty sleep
Between linen sheets
And fragrant grasses
I wake into reality
And back to my desires

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
