Let Me Take You There

Dreamy eyes with morning wonder.
Cup of Java after good night's slumber.
Wash away the midnight dust.
Plan the day you both discussed.
Hike along the winding trail.
Autumn sunshine..treetops veil.
Sparking water runs rocks resistance.
We soak our feet..with some insistence.
Cloak a blanket on the bank.
A tasty nosh which of to thank.
Sweet kiss upon my lips with passion.
Humbly..I accept the ration.
Twinkling amber sunset..through the trees.
A slight shiver..drops in degrees.
Moonlight glimmers across the Lake..
Campfire roars..love we make.
Sleep with stars above our head.
There's nothing else I would have done instead.
