Let Me Sing For You

Please humble me ma’am with a bit of your time
For you, I will share some song and some rhyme
Please don’t leave me hanging, no not very long
I only wish to share my words through my songs

As I stand before you ma’am I beg you to choose
Please pick any song, you have not a thing to lose
My voice is now primed, it is so ready and relaxed
So, please give a listen and just sit yourself back

Close your eyes for a moment, give in to a dream
Let my voice guide you, to a place you’ve not been
I promise to hold you so safe there in this song
And worry not ma’am, this should not take long

Upon your return, the world will seem more bright
It’s because of the words, they’ll bring more light
The warmth of the light will remain on your brow
They crept into your dreams, remain with you now

As I stand before you ma’am I beg you to choose
Please pick any song, you have not a thing to lose
My voice is now primed, it is so ready and relaxed
So, please give a listen and just sit yourself back
