Let Me Shine
You say you know whats best for me, but you dont even really care. I'm trying to make a better life, can't you see? I'm already 1/2 way there. I want to do more, hear my voice. change in career, a life changing choice. A big decision yes I know, You take it personal and it shows. Would you like some cheese with that whine? It's a golden chance, a chance of a lifetime. Give me some slack and let me shine. I'm "a beautiful soul" you "love me so much"? But I'm just an asset and your only crutch. I like you yes, but know this now, I'm not the only worker in this town. You dont come here to live, you come here to die. This is Business, so no need to cry. Another excuse it's all the same, I want to live not play people's games. You say you support me but do you care? I'm not your property, you have to share.
