Your tiny little fingers So long and thin, You hold my hand And you let me in. It seems like only yesterday You came into the world I look at you today And you’re quite the little girl. Every day holds a new surprise Life is wonderful in your eyes. When you grow up and go away I hope that you remember today. You’ll call my name And once again, You’ll hold my hand And let me in. And someday when I’m old and gray And ready to almost fade away. I’ll call your name And once again I will hold your hand And let you in.
