Let Me Have a Lollipop

Let me have one Gladys our neighbor said. Sour apple lollipop made by Ned. She took a long lick Effect was so quick Face swelled up bigger than our queen bed To our immediate untold surprise She was so puffed up, it hid her eyes. We called nine one one Which halted our fun Gladys was hospitalized, no big prize.

Oh my! That was one powerful apple lollipop! I was wondering if Gladys was one of those neighbors you don't like! (chuckling)

Thank you Jo. I like limericks, but am never great at the "bawdy" end line.
