Let Me Escape
Oh someone please help me
I’m so sick of this place
Of deep dark depression
Of tears on my face
Why can’t it be over?
What is still to be done?
Before I rest forever
And my pain is all gone
Oh someone please help me
Show me some light
There is pain all around me
No pleasure in sight
My friends are in pain
And my family is too
And my heart, it feels broken
Clean broken in two
The things that I long for
Are not of this world
There’s too much pain here
Too much suffering and hurt
So take me away then,
So far, far away,
From the pain and despair
That is here everyday.
