Let Me Be

My sad heart cries unto the night, "Keep me cloaked in thy darkness. Keep me safe, away from the light, lest the world be shown my weakness." For I cannot grant forgiveness, to myself for all I am not. Within my own web, I am caught, as I cast it upon the sea, of emotions that are for naught. For they will not, just let me be.
