Let Me

I am gasping for air
As my lungs fill with love
My heart starts to race
Then takes flight like a dove
Throw me a lifesaver
I can't help but to drown
To give him my whole self
To let my walls down
I shudder when i think
Of his kiss of his touch
Want him to devour me
Need him so much
Lay by my side
And never get up
Let us spend our days
Gorging on love's cup
Let me caress your body
Tantalize you upon my bed
Allow me to go off of impulse
And make your eyes roll in the back of your head!

I have done a few love poems, mostly my older posted ones. First signs of love and wish are my two most viewed poems and are villanelles. I also have an older one called your eyes, sweet pleasure, and probably a few mixed in. I like the view of love here, the complete giving of oneself to the other. Nice work.
