Let Love Rule

Let Love Rule

Though we only get a glimpse of the natural
There's a whole host stirring in the supernatural
Yet we see through a tiny little lens
Shadows creap in to create a chasm within
In every human heart there beats a melody
Shattered glass and the swing on the porch
Little things mean a lot in a world of choice
Let's look above to all the heavenly love
To love is much better then hate after all
A beat of the clock to watch the grand tick tock
The shapes of faces in the cloud emmerge to shine
Although the ocean plunges within it's vast formation
Some may need a rest on a long awaited vacation
Let love rule from sea to shining sea
That lovely girl with the hope that she would marry me
We treasured a red rose that was plucked a time before
To welcome the disabled with opened arms
To love the American troops so very strong
In pillars of solace to embrace the American flag
To stand in silence in the midst of a world gone mad
Let love rule in the churches being filled with hate
Let love rule in the hearts of those searching for fate
We get a glimpse of this great love sheltered through the pain
Just like not having her in my arms is driving me insane
In stained glass windows of the saints gone before us
To cheer us on in the vast host of it's heavenly chorus
