Let It Live
Must you always test my love
and always doubt my heart?
Must we go through life this way
Yet, know we'll never part?
Please take my love and let it live
just where it wants to be.
Don't judge my love by yesterday.
Don't doubt the you that's part of me.
Some people live and never know
just how sweet love can be.
They just can't seem to realize
that love is never free.
The price we pay for love like this
is seldom ever cheap.
The price is sometimes pain and tears
till doubt and fear are put to sleep
Let it live! Let my love live!
My heart will always sing
a quiet song that tells the world
you are my everything.
You are my day, you are my night,
you are my in-between.
You'll always be the sweetest thing
my soul has ever seen.
