Let It Be So, Friend

Let it be so, friend!

How long shall I live with
An Image of dude
In her sight,
My folly of that day
For the lasses
Still is a thing of delight

Ways of hankering for love
Why don’t I mend!
Let it be so friend!

I’m yet to catch
Blown kisses in air
Velvety touch of lips
Hardly do I dare

Craving a mirage in my eyes
So much do I agonize!
Why there’s no end!
Let it be so, friend!

Eye lashes full of dreams
As drapes of flower
Flowing in the streams
Like images of blue sky
Floating on the waves
You’re ensconced
In my heart’s caves

Streets are choked
With lovely pairs
Crossing their hands, though
Why do I fail to blend!
Let it be so, friend!
