Let Him Go

I remember the day he came like a warm summer's day. And like a cold winter he took his love away. I was so afraid he wasn't there to show me the way. I'm a slave for him this he knew and l took him back like a fool. And like before he hurt me once more he did me in. Why did I have to go through this again? No more will I talk to him or look at his face. All the memories of him I want to erase. My friends get on my case and ask if I could ever forgive the wrong and I say NO! NO! NO! I got to let him go!
