Let Fate See Another Day
His path, like those of many before him, knew countless craters and caverns
Until rewarded with his true love, he walked a sure step, undeterred
Through his carriage, he protected his love, though her path often did bank
For he knew without her, the mysteries of life would remain unexplored
Yet another stumble betided her walk, unsteady, erratic in totter
Once again, his devotion guided his measure as he journeyed in keep
But this time, his feet did not give rise, was it fated that love would resolve
Though weary, his strength solicited passage to let fate see another day
