Lest We Forget Freedom's Banner
Let us stand this 4th of July
And pledge allegiance to the flag.
Though strife undermines our goals,
Let not our demeanor be glum,
For we are a nation of resolve,
And as patriots, we shall overcome.
In all her states and territories,
We honor our American heroes
For their courage and devotion
On this day of celebration.
Let “Old Glory” unfurl,
And let us sing our anthem unfettered.
Let America illuminate the world,
Lest we forget freedom’s banner.
