Lessons To Learn

Speak not in anger, when challenged so.
Speak not in haste, to chance the time.
Speak only truth in a calm, clear voice
Pray for those, who speak out of line.

Listen not, to blind opinions.
Listen not, to those who falsely preach.
Listen not, to the anger of others.
This lesson I offer and so now I teach.

We should not give in to evil’s seduction.
We should not give in to tempestuous ways.
We should not give in to hateful actions
We should stand with strength and learn to praise.

We have been taught these wonderful lessons
By the one who, before us, had lived this way.
When times are tough and you want to give in
Remember, Calvary, the saving day.
