The news that you went to heaven
was not what I expected today,
it brought a burst of pain in my heart
and my mind as the memories of our time
together here on earth flooded through my being
Then a moment of truth when I realized where
you are now, with a whole and healed body
and I know that is where you want to be
for eternity, but know that you will be missed
I love you, my friend!
