Lemonade
Take the lemons of your life
And turn them into lemonade
Be free from all stress and strife
The debt for your life’s been paid
Released from the grip of indecision
Free to walk away from your fears
His light has given you a clear vision
There should be joy inside your tears
There’s so much you can do
Because so much has been done
A great love has been entrusted to you
By way of the Father through the Son
That joy unspeakable, full of glory
Comes from that power deep within
Now you must testify and tell your story
How you’ve been forgiven all your sin
Bringing glory to His awesome name
Should be your reason for living
If you acknowledge Him, He’ll do the same
You just can’t beat God giving
Greater is He that is in you
Merciful, compassionate, perfect in love
Born again knowing all things brand new
With access to all His power from above
All your burdens lay at the foot of the cross
Ever since the debt for your life’s been paid
So why not take the lemons of your life
And turn them into lemonade
