Legends

Swinging swords and drawing bows
only the greatest of those
are remembered, written in stone by
the ones to whom legends were shown

Courage, prosperity and strength
words given to those who went the length
who sacrificed themselves for others, united
together as if brothers;

We call them legends,
the saints that defied foes
saviours that heaven chose
to protect us from death
keeping us from his fatal breath

“I salute thee” we proclaim,
“Eternity will remember thine name”

So true...Although most of us will remember greatness long after it has gone through...All the best Carson
