Silent One's Legend Contest

A smile brings light across the soul, Stirring wonder who makes lives whole. A smile brings joy into life’s shadows, Assuring hope roused by One who arose. A smile sings melodies filled with peace, Motivating faith that will ever increase. A smile reflects the pleasure of night skies, Steadfast in those who are old and wise. A smile brings poetry out of the worst, Sighing with joy that abides in sunburst. A smile brings lyrics to the hungry heart, Revealing affection that will never depart. A smile quotes the Creator with its songs, Ensuring dreamers, His kindness surely belongs. A smile evokes the affections of a dewy morn, More perfect than the fingers of our firstborn. A smile brings elation that echoes in secret places, Silencing doubts as God’s love softly embraces. A smile brings the spirit from darkness to light, Trembling with feeling that brings sharp insight. A smile lifts the burdens from those who regret, Trading shame for dignity that a heart won’t forget. A smile delights the sun and brings hope to life, Comforting the ones who mourn and live in strife. A smile brings miracles out of the darkest dread, Knowledge that this elation will continue to spread. A smile brings the anxious strength to face their fears, Leaving light in the path where pain has left its tears. A smile, to those who know His love, is a clue, To love like He loves – completely, through and through! A smile, for those who believe in the eternal, Know this expression is more – it isn’t just external. A smile, I believe – my kind and gentle friend, Is an intimate portrait of a love that will never end. A smile, I believe – is more alive than can be expressed. It is proof positive that our life has been so blessed!
