Legend

LEGEND

we are all legends no matter who we are 
cruising, and confusing ENIGMA to bizarre 
I am a legend, no  need to be a star
I am a legend ,with no need to travel far

In and out like the sun 
I am a legend, I' m not the only one
living this world with one quick run
we are still a legend,  we control the gun 

drinking all the water from the dam
drowning in a lake is what i dram 
a legend I made the river where I swam
after drinking the water from the lamb

legend when our hearts are lost in the ground
legend we become when we are found
legend we are all destine to  bound
legend by the weight of the smallest pound

legend down to the bone
legend even when you're  alone
a legend does not always carry a nice tone
a legend is your name engraved in the stone

legends can be good or bad some legends like jesus bring an army of love from above. other legends like hitlers,stalins and husseins bring legions of demons and dragons of destruction with them. however, both forces have their places of power in the universe of blessing and cirse

P.D., yes we are! I think when we quite believing we are a legend we may as well hop on in the hole. Thanks for your comments. I really didn't know what to write with, "Yes, we have no Bananas" That was a pretty tough line to put a meaningful poem to. I'm not to happy with the poem but like I said, I tried! Wow, you have talent. You have a sharp, slashing style it is almost cinematic. It reminds me of the best of Frankenheimer or early Kubrick, not later bloated self important Kubrick, but the brilliant Kubrick of Paths of Glory or Dr. Strangelove or even Lolita. I'm going to read more of your stuff this week. By trhe way, I would love to see you do a verbal give and take between THE two great Batman villains Jack Napier and Harvey Dent.
