Education being knowledge Foundation established My years at CUNY MEDGAR EVERS COLLEGE Higher learning being opportunity I was honored to be educated by legacy from legacy It was MALCOLM X primage into a Professor Dr. Betty Shabazz, Malcolm X’s Widow Principles simple Health class called “IN SEARCH OF WELLNESS” My mind opened up into wonder My thoughts embraced yonder Listened and absorbed Possibilities on every turn Theories directed Legacies wisdom Values to use in one’s own life That is what I got from Dr. Shabazz’s teachings No doubt Pure education through and through Who knew? For me, it became pursue.
