Legacy

Subtle signs do indicate,
seasons for aging wane.
Travels spent, the many streets,
now walks down memory lane.

Life's experience, one's transformation,
shaped like molded clay.
Chapters written, 'tis history,
as fewer pages remain.

In conclusion, with surety,
it all comes to an end,
as for those you may have touched,
now your legacy begins.

Legacy I like, should it be pages instead of page? D

I wrestled with that, but to me it didn't flow as well in the plural. Thank you for your visit, much appreciated!

Very apropos for those of us with significant numbers of years behind us. A very well put observation on your part.
