Legacy
People don’t want to listen when I speak of struggle and pain
But these are apart of nature like the wind, the sun, and rain
Choose your doors and turn the key
Accept what comes your way so humbly
Develop your ears to hone in on the rumble
When the earth breaks underfoot, trust you won’t crumble
Stand your ground and focus your eyes
Shift your weight to mobilize
Your body is a temple, your mind a god
Some would say that this sounds odd
And how so? I would answer. you have power within
Power so great that you just might win
To fight like you’re dying and there’s no other way
Condition your mind and body to bend and obey
Strike with precision and right to the heart
For your memory in the world to never depart
