Left Versus Right

With the wind beneath its wings
The bird soars high into the sky
The wings spread, working in tandem
Providing an effortless flight

We see him drop from the air in an instant
Controlled, he swoops from side to side
Incredible balance and coordination
The wings working together, the bird glides

Each wing is a part
Of the bird being whole
If there's any disruption
To the ground, the bird does go

The wind would seem incomplete
Without the beauty of the bird
And we are much the same
If there’s no unity in our words

The wings work together
There is no left versus right
The same goes for us
We need constructive discourse - not trivial fights

Everything in life is contingent
Life thrives when we’re all in harmony
We’re all in this together
The wind, the bird, and you and me
